Adding a technical or billing contact on your server

If you would like to authorize another OVH customer to be a technician on your server(s), simply open a support ticket requesting this. Please be sure to include the other customer’s OVH NIC-handle (account number).

If you would like to add someone as the billing contact, or the administrator of the server(s), there are two steps to follow. First, you would need to open a support ticket requesting this. Please be sure to include the other customer’s OVH NIChandle (account number). Additionally, we would also request that the other party contact us confirming that they wish to take on this responsibility.

Please note that these changes are done on a server by server basis.

Transferring your server to a different account

If you would like to transfer your server to another OVH customer, there are two steps to follow. First, you would need to open a support ticket requesting this. Please be sure to include the other customer’s OVH NIC-handle (account number). Additionally, we would also request that the other party contact us confirming that they wish to take over the responsibility of the server(s) in question.

Order not yet completed

If you’ve placed an order and it hasn’t completed yet, there are a few possibilities.

First, check the bottom-left area of the invoice to see if it says “We check your order manually”. If that is the case, it means the order requires manual validation, which will be handled by our Validation team shortly.

If you received an email from our Validation team, you would need to reply to their message.

Otherwise, you can contact our support team either by phone or by support ticket and we’ll look into it for you promptly!

Payment extension

If you require a little more time to make your payment, but do not wish for your server to go offline, contact us by phone or Support ticket on the day your server is set to expire to request a billing extension. We can, at our discretion, apply a 5 day billing extension to keep your server online.

Please note that these days will still be billed on your renewal. This is not 5 free days of service, simply an extension on your payment deadline.

Auto-Renewal

Currently, OVH only offers auto-renew on our Dedicated Cloud products. While there is a section in the OVH Manager’s Billing page to add a payment method, and a section in the My OVH Account to credit your account, neither of these functions are currently activated for customers in OVH Canada.

For the moment, you can renew your services by clicking the Renew button next to your server in the OVH Manager tool.
